What the Chakra?
Have you ever had one of those days where you are like what the hell is wrong with me? Whether you have this stupid headache that won't go away, you are super snappy with the people you love, you are OCD about any and everything, or you just feel off. I am the type of person that likes to wonder the "why" behind things. I can't just feel out of balance for the fun of it. Something must be wrong with me right? Well I recently learned a lot about our 7 energy centers that is in EVERYONE, which our Chakras. Chakra translates to wheel or rotating rings. So they are pretty much the wheels that keep our spiritual bodies from either maintaining a healthy or unhealthy state. This blog post won't be very interesting if you could care less about self awareness and living your best life. When our chakras or our energy center is balanced, we make better decisions.
Better decisions = a better life.
So how do your seven chakras play a role in your life? Well simply put, they speak to you. The seven chakras also correlate with the seven days of creation in this physical realm. They tell you when you are not aligned and they tell you when you are growing. The spinning wheels can get blocked when we are out of alignment. So knowing more about chakras can clear up some blockage that you didn't even recognize. Or maybe you recognized but just did not understand what was going on in you spiritually.
I love how the seven chakras are the colors in the rainbow. The rainbow is a symbolism of God's promise right? To me that further symbolizes that we were created with everything we need. He promised us greatness, and we have the opportunity to receive that promise. We are able to live a healthy, joyful, balanced, and purposeful life. This beautiful life happens when our 7 energy centers are spinning and shining bright. The chart below points to each energy center in our bodies and what that energy center regulates. The red words symbolize characteristics when that energy center is out of regulation or out of balance.
If you do not feel rooted, joyful, strong, loved, expressive, connected or divine then something is off. Whether that is our environment, the foods we are eating, the lack of physical activity, or the people we are around, our bodies will start to suffer. When our spiritual bodies are off, disease starts to knock on our front door. We get fatigued, our organs start being extra weird and now we are back wondering what the hell is wrong with me? My favorite go-to for all things are affirmations. When you pray, you are affirming. When you speak affirmations, you are praying. Affirmations are needed when I am down, happy, or need clarity. The way we speak to ourselves is the way we speak to our spirit. It is the same thing because my spirit is inside me not in the sky chilling waiting on me to call on it. It is not that some people have more power than others. It is that some people do not know how to tap into that power. If you knew how to speak life and affirm the things that are already promised to you, wouldn't you?
The way we speak is beyond important. The way we think is beyond important. The things we affirm daily is beyond important. Your words can be those of power or those of emptiness. So when you think of your spiritual make up and see the seven categories below, be a little more mindful of what your spirit is telling you. Can you express yourself better? Can you feel a little more secure and confident? Can you love and receive love better? Are you in tune with your intuition or attached to your fears? These type of questions are important to grow and just feel and be better. When we are better we are able to push others to their purpose and greatness. When we are better we are less stressed, the people around us are loved harder, and our dreams are fulfilled.
